Go with me on something for a minute …

Imagine that someone knocks on your door in the middle of the day, hands you a drink, said, “Game’s on…;” then just wanders off. Just the idea of it makes you smile, doesn’t it? Well, you get to be that guy.

Meeting people has more to do with creating opportunity than anything else. And as the leader of a men’s group, you’re going to become an expert at creating opportunity. The opportunity that you’re giving to other guys at this point isn’t an opportunity to talk to you; it’s the opportunity to do something – alongside you. The talking comes later, after someone hands someone else another drink, the wings come off the grill, and halftime starts.

Women have to talk. They can’t stop themselves. But us…?, we can sit there on our duffs all day long, enjoy the peace and quiet with another couple of guys, and feel completely at ease.

So go ahead, embrace your gender’s birthright. And let the guys on your street know what you’re up to…they’ll be there every time.
